Wait, but don't you already have a Patreon page that I may or may not already be supporting?

First, thank you so much those of you who are already my Patreon. Yes, I do have my own Patreon page (which is supporting things like Over-Encumbered among other personal projects). The reason Cthulhu Slippers is a separate Patreon is because it's not 100% my project. Andrew Jack (the author and creator of Cthulhu Slippers) hired me to do the art for the comic and he pays me for this service. Also, while there is some overlap between my fans and Cthulhu Slippers fans, Cthulhu Slippers has a MUCH larger following. Finally, and most important, since I'm working for Andrew we wanted a way for Cthulhu Slippers to become self sufficient (or at least more so than it was). Andrew should get some love too. :)

Sounds fair. But what if I want to support both of you? Would you be offended if I rearranged my pledge to give some to Cthulhu Slippers?

No, not at all. Any support is awesome.

If you are curious what goals and incentives Cthulhu Slippers is offering, all that is outlined on its Patreon page.

Mainly it's to help out with the operation of my comic Over-Encumbered, but I'm not limiting it to just that. I talk about all this, reward tiers for supporters, and more over on my Patreon page. Please check it out if you fancy supporting my artwork. If not, there's also a delightful video highlighting my on-camera awkwardness - so, totally well worth the visit.

Weekly Comic Update: Beards and Tentacles

CS_2-5Since I have more than one comic going on right now, I thought it would make more sense to just consolidate these updates each week.

So, to start things off, we learn about tentacles on this week's episode of Cthulhu Slippers. When one works for a mega-corporation run mostly on and by tentacles, it's always to wise to gain as much tentacle based knowledge as possible.

Check out the full comic over at Cthulhu Slippers.

Also this week we meet another Over-Encumbered character in our house of misfits. Jupiter may look the most "normal" out of the bunch, and in many senses he is, but looks can be diversionary. Or something.

Check out Jupiter's character sheet over at Over-Encumbered. Now featuring a favicon and sharing buttons. Woo!

In other news, I tried my first Scotch egg last night and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. EGG! AND SAUSAGE! DEEP FRIED! It was glorious.
