Sky Fish

Sky Fish Young salmon in an overhead tank. I know, that bit of information rather spoils the magic of the image, doesn't it? Sorry.

Looking at this, I realized it reminds me of the Dr. Who episode, A Christmas Carol. You know, the one with the sky shark. Quite a wonderful episode.

Ah, flying fish - I do so adore the concept. You?

Giant Pacific Octopus

This big boy (or girl?) was being social on the day we visited the Seattle Aquarium. They have a nice giant pacific octopus exhibit and this fellow decided to wander about, showing off his entirety to the crowd until he got upstaged by the sixgill shark presentation. Phhsh... tourists... Everyone knows that octopus trumps shark.

Rainier

I had nearly forgotten about this photo I took back in February. That's Mount Rainier in the background with Safeco Field in the middle and the port of Seattle in the foreground.

Andy and I went up to Seattle to meet up with some east coast friends at the Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival. All in all it was an excellent event. I highly recommend attending for anyone in the area.
