Come see me at Monster Drawing Rally TONIGHT!

Tonight is Monster Drawing Rally at the Portland Art Museum for its fifth year of local artists drawing. A hundred local artists will be creating art in one hour slots which will then be immediately available for purchase at $35 each. The proceeds will go towards the museum’s free school and youth programs.

I was on the waitlist for this as of yesterday, when a few slots opened up. Now I’m officially an artist participant! Woo! I’ll be drawing live during the second hour slot (7pm-8pm). The whole event begins at 5:30pm and runs until 9:30pm. I believe there will also be food and drinks available for purchase.

It’s FREE to ATTEND.

Come by, say hi, and pick up some fun art!

Also, here’s the Facebook event page.

Weekly Comic Update: Beards and Tentacles

CS_2-5Since I have more than one comic going on right now, I thought it would make more sense to just consolidate these updates each week.

So, to start things off, we learn about tentacles on this week's episode of Cthulhu Slippers. When one works for a mega-corporation run mostly on and by tentacles, it's always to wise to gain as much tentacle based knowledge as possible.

Check out the full comic over at Cthulhu Slippers.

Also this week we meet another Over-Encumbered character in our house of misfits. Jupiter may look the most "normal" out of the bunch, and in many senses he is, but looks can be diversionary. Or something.

Check out Jupiter's character sheet over at Over-Encumbered. Now featuring a favicon and sharing buttons. Woo!

In other news, I tried my first Scotch egg last night and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. EGG! AND SAUSAGE! DEEP FRIED! It was glorious.
