Sketchbook: Springtime in the Gleep Hills

moleskine011[large version]

Sometimes it's funny the things you notice about a drawing after it's done. For instance, the cluster of blobs remind me of Gloop and Gleep from the Herculoids.  Also, the white one is the only one looking at the little guy planting seeds.  If only I knew why. Why?! Great, now that's probably going to bug me the rest of the day.

Anyone else have experiences like this where your creations surprise you or just completely run away from you like a teenager dribbling with angst, proclaiming to the world that they are old enough to make their own decisions, then stomping off in disgust?

Please, share.
