Cobra Commanders

Cobra Commanders

This photo was taken at this year's Dragon*Con. While Andy went wild with the flash photography on all the amazing costumes, I decided to try capturing the con without flash this year. Granted, flash is extremely useful in low light conditions, and when done well, can produce great images. However, sometimes it seems to have the nasty habit of stripping the away atmosphere created by the lighting. While there is a tiny bit of fuzziness associated with this image as a result of the poor lighting, this is still my favorite photo from this year. For those unfamiliar with this costume, these guys are dressed up as the Cobra Commander; the villain from G.I. Joe. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. :)
