A couple of weekends ago we went to the Oregon Zoo. I realized that we hadn't been since last September so as the weather was nice, we went. Unfortunately everyone else in Portland had the same idea. So, instead of parking in the overflow lot that required the catching of a bus shuttle, we opted to park up the hill by Hoyt Arboretum. It was a nice short walk though the forest to the zoo.
This photo was taken at Lorikeet Landing. It is an open exhibit where you have the opportunity to play lorikeet poo roulette by offering the birds some cups of juice. I am convinced that you cannot take a bad photo of these guys.
