Rose City Comic Con Sketches

Hey everyone!

This past weekend I was lucky enough to share a booth with the always amazing Doubleclicks (they begin an East Coast/Midwest tour this week so make sure you go see them if they are coming to your city) where I sketched Doubleclicks themed art for folks. It was fun and amazing and I hope one day I get to do something like this again. It was thrown together at the last minute, so I apologize to anyone who didn’t know I was going to be there.

Here are the sketches from the weekend. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and who requested a sketch!

Weekly Comic Update: There’s a Venn For That

Because I somehow forgot to post one of these last week, you get double the goodness. Hooray for forgetfulness?

CS_2-7 Ever wander into a room and forget why you came in there? The horrible abominations over at Cthulhu Slippers also have this problem from time to time.

CS_2-8 Remember folks, a clean fridge is a fridge that probably won’t try to eat you. Probably.

oe-001 In the first Over-Encumbered comic we learn about Harriet’s will power.

In which Yukon and Jupiter ponder life, the universe, and Venn diagrams.

Over-Encumbered Characters

Good news everyone!

The work on my new webcomic, Over-Encumbered, progresses! *high five for forward momentum*

Over-Encumbered is a comic about a misfit group of neighbors residing in the same old house in Portland, Oregon. Plus, owlbear! :)

The final tweaks on the characters are complete and I have the first set of character development comics complete. Because you are such nice people, here’s a peek at the four main characters (Harriet, Jupiter, Yukon, and Gary).

Harriet Jupiter

Yukon Gary

I’m planning on releasing one comic a week. Once I get some content going, I will start up a Patreon campaign.

The current plan is to start releasing the character development comics the first week in March. I want to make this comic more interactive than my previous projects so I’m hoping to integrate input from you, the reader, into the comic. I haven’t worked out all the details yet, that’s part of the fun. It’s a bit of an experiment, but, I hope, a good one.

So, yeah… SOON.
