You know, that turned out to be quite the task. You would think it being on display at an extremely popular zoo would help, but no. However, I am pleased to say that my tenacity prevailed and I discovered that this is a Golden-headed Manakin (<em>Pipra erythrocephala</em>) It's a native to the northern Amazon.
