Each of these cute little buggers were seen all over the wonderful coral reefs of Maui. A couple of the humuhumu-nukunuku-apua’a (yes, after seeing enough of these guys you do eventually learn their name) tried to scare me away from their territory (or nest). Thinking about it still makes me smile. Although, the humuhumu-nukunuku-apua’a probably don’t feel the same about me. Très sigh. I wonder if it is possible to go though Maui withdrawals…
