My quest for the perfect purple nail polish has come to a successful end. Well, at least for the time being while my current tastes dictate that this is, indeed, the perfect purple.

Ever set your ISO to some weird value and then a few days later forget that you set it to that value? That’s what happened here. Although, even at 800 it didn’t turn out as grainy as I had feared. The branch is from one of my columbines.

My particular shade of perfect purple is made by sinful colors, specifically #260 Volcanic. They have all kinds of crazy wild colors. I highly recommend that polish. :) Good luck on your search!
