They were all hanging out by the fence, like loitering teenagers on a Friday night. They eyed me wearily as I approached, glancing at my hands to see if I had come with an offering of veggie scraps. If I had only known that was all that was required, the ensuing carnage could have been avoided.

They didn’t beat me up too bad, but they did take my wallet. I was lucky.

This was more of an experimental shot. We had just recently purchased a small compact camera (Casio Exilim) for video and underwater usage. I was messing around with it, taking photos of my in-law’s neighbor cows.
